If you want to have a very different experience in dance or movement or in your life, you should join a butoh workshop with TADASHI ENDO!
TADASHI ENDO's workshops are very popular and always sold out. Participants are coming from all over the world to learn from him about butoh dance and butoh philosopy.
TADASHI ENDO is a very unique and wonderful teacher.
"Everybody can dance butoh - may be not the Japanese butoh, but everybody can find his/her own butoh" . These words from Kazuo Ohno give a most important influence in Tadashi Endo's teaching.
In 2017 the Butoh Centrum MAMU Göttingen will celebrate it's 25 jubilee in August. Tadashi Endo will give an intense workshop and also he wants to create a new dance theatre piece with the dancers who join the workshop.
The title of the production is HA DÔ (wave movement)
It is an Hommage to the dead refugees who lost their lives in the middle sea.
"These people were running away from war and desperate situation and hunger.
They entered the boats full of hope for a safe life for surviving and help.
This hope also sank into the sea!
They lost everything and finally they even lost their lives.
Their bodies are lying on the ground of the sea but theirt souls are moving along.
What would they say to us, if they could raise from the sea???"(Tadashi Endo)
The rehearsal starts on July 25 until August 6 and from August 21 to 28, 2017. The performances will be at Junges Theater Göttingen on August 29, 30, and 31, 2017 (tickets at www.junges-theater.de)
